FUN FACT TIME
I'm from a small town in New Mexico but I moved to Texas in 2015. Even though it was a tough transition – Texas has now become my home.
When I'm not working or hitting the books, you can catch me sipping on some Dutch Bros, vibing to Taylor Swift, and crocheting a new blanket. Yep, I've been called a grandma in a 21-year-old's body.
2016
This was the year I was living in Lubbock, it was my first year of high school, and I was beyond nervous. I had Taylor Swifts' song Fifteen on repeat the whole morning, trying to calm my nerves. But then I went into my first-period class called Digital Imaging and immediately felt at home. This is where it all began.
MY TIMELINE
2020
We all know how this year turned out. But for me, I was supposed to be graduating, going to prom, applying for colleges, but that all got flipped upside down. School went online, prom canceled, and college didn't seem like an option. But with all of the time at home, I was able to practice my skills and pick up new hobbies that would eventually help me become the person I am today.
NOW
Now here we are. I am now transitioning to Texas State University and living on my own for the first time. If 15-year-old me could see me now, I don't think she would have believed it. I hope to build my portfolio even more and flourish as a designer in this new chapter of my life.
