2016
This was the year I was living in Lubbock, it was my first year of high school, and I was beyond nervous. I had Taylor Swifts' song Fifteen on repeat the whole morning, trying to calm my nerves. But then I went into my first-period class called Digital Imaging and immediately felt at home. This is where it all began.
My Timeline
2020
We all know how this year turned out. But for me, I was supposed to be graduating, going to prom, applying for colleges, but that all got flipped upside down. School went online, prom canceled, and college didn't seem like an option. But with all of the time at home, I was able to practice my skills and pick up new hobbies that would eventually help me become the person I am today.
2022
Now here we are. I am now transitioning to Texas State University and living on my own for the first time. If 15-year-old me could see me now, I don't think she would have believed it. I hope to build my portfolio even more and flourish as a designer in this new chapter of my life.
HERE IS MY FAVORITE PART
FUN FACT TIME
I am originally from a small town in New Mexico and moved to Texas in 2015. It was a big transition, but I wouldn't have changed a thing. I have fallen in love with this state, which is now my home.
Some of my favorite things are Dutch Bros, Taylor Swift, and crochet. I get told that I am a grandma in a 20-year-old body.
